Call for applications: University Innovation Fellowship

The application period for the University Innovation Fellowship (UIF) is still open.

Faculty members and researchers on a tenure track who have expertise in health, agritech, aquaculture, energy, environment, ICT and food technology, and with business development experience are invited to apply for the program. Experience in intellectual property/application and technology transfer is nice to have but not required.

Approved candidates will undergo the UIF training, which is based on the USAID’s Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office program and co-supervised by the UP System Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO), a unit under the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and UPSCALE.

The University Innovation Fellow’s primary role is to identify potential industry partners within a field of interest and connect UP researchers who have disclosed their research to UP for technology commercialization.

Candidates can apply online at: https://forms.gle/Tm8B9NQfAA6vrTHv5.

Deadline of online application is 17 May 2019.
