Fourteen books will be formally introduced to the public by the University of the Philippines Press (UP Press) in its forthcoming “Paglulunsad” on 27 May 2016 at Balay Kalinaw, UP Diliman. These include the selected works of National Artists Cirilo F. Bautista and F. Asian Scientist list salutes the achievements of three UP researchers
Three UP researchers were among the five Filipinos honored in the first “Asian Scientists 100” list. It was released by The Asian Scientist, a Singapore-based publication that aims to bring awareness to quality research being done around Asia. Placing ninth was UP Professor Emeritus Edgardo Gomez, the founding director of the UP Marine Science Institute (MSI).
