The Master of Public Policy and Management is an 18-month study program that will commence on 27 December 2015. Students will spend 12 months at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and undertake their third semester (six months) in one of UBD’s partner policy schools in the United States. These institutions are Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy, University of Maryland School of Public Policy, Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy, and Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. A visit to Washington, D.C. will also be a key feature of the third semester. It will be a venue for students to meet representatives of policy-making institutions, policy think tanks and non-profit sectors.
Applicants are required to have at least five years of work experience and must have high leadership potential. Those from international development agencies and non-profit sectors are also encouraged to apply.
Scholarships are available on a competitive basis for applicants from ASEAN and East Asian Summit (EAS) participating countries.
