The Asia Deans’ Forum is now accepting applicants for the 2019 Rising Stars Women in Engineering Workshop.
The workshop is open to female fresh PhD graduates or PhD students who are about to graduate in engineering-related disciplines, postdocs or young researchers with engineering PhD degrees, and young engineers with PhD degrees working in industry who are interested in exploring careers in academia.
Shortlisted participants will be invited to display an A1 poster, do a 90-second elevator pitch and attend the sessions of the Workshop.
Each shortlisted participant will be offered local accommodation near the Seoul National University campus (including a three-night complimentary stay) and one-off support for mobility costs (including expenses for round-trip flight ticket in economy class and local transportation). Participants from the Philippines will receive USD900 for mobility costs.

The Asian Deans’ Forum is composed of representatives from the engineering schools of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan University, National University of Singapore, Seoul National University, Tsinghua University, and The University of Tokyo.
