The UP Alumni Association (UPAA) has begun the search for nominees to the following UPAA awards for 2018:
– Most Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award(s)
– Lifetime Distinguished Achievement Awards
– Distinguished Alumni Awards
– Distinguished Service Awards
– Multi-Generation U.P. Alumni Family Awards
The awarding ceremonies will be held on 18 August 2018, Saturday, during the 2018 UP General Alumni Homecoming. The deadline for the submission of nominations is 2 April 2018, Monday, for which there will be no extension, inasmuch as the awardees will be featured in the 2018 UPAA Yearbook being prepared for distribution during the homecoming.
The UPAA is making a special effort to identify little known alumni, both locals in rural areas and foreign nationals overseas, whose achievements may have so far largely remained unrecognized.
Nominations for the awards will be accepted from any UP alumnus or UPAA alumni chapter. The complete information concerning the procedure and forms for nominating candidates is on the UPAA website.
