The University of the Philippines has been named one of the world’s top 100 universities for development studies by British company Quacquarelli Symmonds (QS). It appeared in the 51-100 bracket in the 2019 QS World University Rankings by Subject Area published on 27 February. This is the first time since 2017 that UP has been ranked in the subject. UP ranking in Asia-Pacific rises
The University of the Philippines moves up to the top 101-110 universities of the Asia-Pacific region, leaping from its place in the 151-160 bracket in 2018 and in the 201+ bracket in 2017, based on the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia-Pacific University Ranking released on February 20, 2019.
