The University of the Philippines is a major producer of scientific articles in the country. In the last 18 years alone, UP published over 7000 articles in prestigious journals, all refereed. UP is co-organizer of first national writing workshop for LGBTQ poets
The University of the Philippines, together with Goldsmiths University of London, is sponsoring the Philippines’ first National LGBTQ Poetry Workshop as part of the international research and arts consortium called GlobalGRACE (Global Gender and Cultures of Equality). GlobalGRACE is funded by the Research Council UK’s Global Challenges Research Fund.
